Founder & Principal Engineer, EcoStasis

Ansley Tilley is the founder and Principal Engineer of EcoStasis, a firm dedicated to developing nature-based, watershed-scale solutions that enhance water quality, strengthen climate resilience, and restore ecosystems across the U.S. With over two decades of experience, she blends engineering expertise with strategic vision to deliver high-impact environmental outcomes.

Recognized for her leadership in the Northern Everglades and beyond, Ansley has led both public and private sector teams on landmark restoration efforts, from Everglades recovery to TMDL compliance and flood protection. She is widely respected for her ability to structure innovative land and project deals that align environmental benefits with investor interests—unlocking new pathways for capital deployment into ecological infrastructure.

Ansley is also a co-author of Florida’s groundbreaking Water Quality Enhancement Area legislation, which established a framework for private sector participation in water quality restoration through market-based approaches—similar to wetland mitigation banking. This landmark policy has opened the door for scalable, performance-driven solutions to some of the state's most pressing challenges in improving its water resources.

At EcoStasis, Ansley continues to shape emerging environmental markets through her work developing high-value, multi-benefit projects and advancing models like pay-for-performance procurement that make it easier to invest, improve, and conserve natural resources. Her work sits at the intersection of engineering, policy, and finance—creating a powerful platform for environmental resilience.
